Classic Cross Country Mountain Bike, Multi-Use, and progressive bike Park

 

Kahakapao Recreational Area. Makawao, HI (2013-Present)
    
-As contractors for the State of Hawaii, we collaborate with the local biking club and Na Ala Hele State trail crew to maintain 10 miles of world renown multi-use trail located in the heart of an amazing forest possessing recreational, economic, and cultural benefits   
    -Maintain the downhill mountain bike flow trail, “Pineapple Express”, the bike park skills zones, pump tracks, and dirt jumps

Bike Park Maui. Makawao, HI (2013-2016)
    -Designed, built, and maintained a 7 mile trail network on a private 80 acre mountain biking venue that served both the local community and tourist groups
    -Managed the bike rental and park operations which had 400 season pass holders in it’s first year!
    -Designed built and maintained skills zones, multiple pump tracks, dirt jumps, multiple downhill jump trails, and dual slalom course
    -Organized, managed, and coached two summer time kids bike camps on the park grounds

Inka Floresta Farm Trails. Formosa, Brazil (October 2016)
    
-Designed and built a 2 mile forest trail system that accesses native jungle on this agro-forestry farm and educational center 

Las Rosadas. Punta Pedula, Mexico (May 2015)
    
-Worked in conjunction with Dave Weins, IMBA Executive Director and famous mountain bike racer to design and build 2 miles of multi-use trail in this private home development and 500 acre ecological reserve
    -Trained and led the land management team in sustainable trail design and construction

HAPI Farm Trails. Haiku, HI (2013-Present)
    
-Design, build, and maintain the multi-use trail network for this non-profit farm and educational center which serves to facilitate farm operations as well as showcase valuable native reforestation and agro-forestry efforts  

Back Yard Bike Jumps, Private Residence. Kula, HI (2015)
    
-Designed and built a set of dirt jumps and pump track for a homeowner on a 2 acre home and farm lot

Fruita Bike Park, Fruita CO (2012-2013)
    
-Designed and constructed a pumptrack, skills park and beginner through expert dirt jump park in one of the nation’s riding meccas

Granby Ranch Bike Park. Granby, CO (Spring 2013)
    
-Designed and built both “green” and expert “black” rated trails at this large lift serviced biking venue

“PBR” at 18rd Trails. Fruita, CO (April 2013)
    
-Designed and built a progressive downhill only trail at this world renown biking destination

Glendo State Park. Glendo, WY (2011-2013)
    
-Designed and built 10 miles of hiking and mountain biking single track laying the foundation of the park’s mountain biking trail system
    -Led a conservation corps crew in trail construction

“Jump Trail” Western State Colorado University. Gunnison, CO (Aug 2012)
    
-Organized and executed the design, construction and maintenance of the Nation’s first downhill jump trail on College property

Hansen-Larsen Memorial Park. Rapid City, SD (Oct 2012)
    -
Helped construct a section of hand built trail utilizing extensive rock wall and armoring techniques demonstrating a proficiency in operating rock hammering, drilling, and blasting equipment

Eleven Bike Trails. Irwin, CO (2012)
    -Designed and mapped a trail network for Eleven, a international high end recreational experience company
    -Created a conceptual recreational management plan for summertime operations 

Lunch Loop Trail System. Grand Junction, CO (2010-2012)
    
-Designed and built 13 miles of mountain biking and hiking single track trail at this popular trail system located on BLM and the City of Grand Junction land
    -Led volunteer groups, and “at-risk” youth groups in trail construction
   -“Pucker Up” is a jump trail extension of Free Lunch the first downhill specific “free-ride” trail on Colorado BLM land
  -Created an awesome bike park at the parking area for the trail system collaborating with the City and Local donors and mountain bike club "COPMOBA"

Curt Gowdy State Park. Cheyenne, WY (2009-2012)
    
-Designed and built 12 miles of mountain biking and hiking single track trail at this mountain bike destination named an IMBA Epic
    -Conceptualized and constructed "Let R Huck" a downhill-specific trail featuring jumps, berms, natural rock wall rides, and drops. 
    -Named on of the country’s 10 best new trails in 2011 by BIKE magazine

Sidewinder Trail. Olathe, CO (April 2009)
    
-Created 4 miles of motorcycle, bridal, hiking, and mountain biking single track trail for the Colorado Bureau of Land Management (BLM)

Gunnison Valley, CO (2006-2013)
    
-Involved, on a volunteer basis, as a crew leader in some cases, in many local trail projects over 7 years at the Hartman’s Rocks Recreation Area, Signal Peak Trails, and various Crested Butte Mountain Bike Association(CBMBA) trails

Cripple Creek Parks and Recreation. Teller County, CO (2010-2011)
    
-Invited to participate on the Committee designing the City’s Recreational Master Plan       
    -Represented mountain bikers and professional trail builders 

Continental Divide Trail, Mount Kruetzer Section. Chaffee County, CO (2008)
    
-Built an extremely difficult section of trail designed for hiking and horse-packing
    -Constructed extensive rock wall, check steps, and other features to minimize weathering in this harsh 12000ft elevation environment

Race Courses, Big Foot Productions. Golden, CO (2009-2011)
    
-Designed and built race courses for all disciplines of mountain biking including cross country, short track, super D, 4x, and downhill for the Rocky Mountain States Cup, Red Bull, and USA Cycling Nationals in the Nation’s premier cycling venues
    -Participants included everyone from novice to top international professionals in race weekends with over 1000 race starts
